Wednesday, August 28th is Chief O’Neill’s 176th birthday. To celebrate the day, Chief O’Neill’s Pub (3471 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618, United States) is kicking off a week of Irish music and related events. It will also be the pub’s 25th birthday.

I visited Chief O’Neill’s a few years back and had a chance to participate in a session. They really keep the great man’s spirit alive, right there in the heart of Chicago!
